How It All Started
Hello! My name is Jenni West, a professional with over 20 years of experience in the travel industry where I've had the privilege of learning from some amazing women who were pioneers in the field. Starting from scratch, I worked my way up and eventually landed a role as a Client Services Manager in the private jet industry. Even after two years, my passion for travel remains as strong as ever, which is why my husband and I decided to launch our own travel agency and virtual assistant services for travel advisors.
I started this endeavor when I realized that there was a huge community of travel advisors with a large client base that needed assistance. West Escapes Travel merges travel services with virtual assistance to alleviate the burdensome workload of travel advisors. Combining my passion for travel and my executive assistant knowledge, I can offer a unique experience to my clients, who can rely on our expertise so you can seamlessly plan and execute your client's travel plans.
From single mom of one to a family of seven
Taking that leap of faith was one of the most exhilarating things I've ever done! It opened up a whole new world of opportunities that I never thought were possible. I landed an incredible position as a Customer Service Manager for a private jet company where I worked closely with some of the most influential people in the industry, including the President, Vice President, and some well-known clients from around the world. It was a dream come true!
But that wasn't all. That same year, I met the love of my life after raising my beautiful, smart, and driven young adult daughter, Mia, as a single mother for ten incredible years. It was like the universe was aligning itself just for me!
I left my position in December 2023, on good terms, and I still keep in touch with my former colleagues who have become dear friends. But that's not all! My husband and I had a magical, intimate beach wedding in January 2024 where we celebrated with our kids and a few close family members. It was truly a day to remember!
My husband has been my biggest supporter since the beginning of this exciting new endeavor, and he always reminds me of my strength, wisdom, and grace. I feel incredibly blessed and grateful for all that I have achieved and for the amazing people in my life who have helped me along the way.
Looking back, I realize that the path I took to reach where I stand today was full of challenges and obstacles. However, I am immensely grateful for the support system that helped me overcome my fears, take calculated risks, and pursue my dreams with all my heart.
